Envirolak's 100 series are 1k or 2k urethane topcoats that provide a lasting, durable finish for wood surfaces.

This product line combines outstanding toughness and stain resistance with the wood warmth and hand-feel of traditional solvent based coatings, all in a low VOC water based finish. EL100 meets or exceeds KCMA standards. 

Please note: pails of 100 20 sheen clear are short filled to 4.4 gallons. The price is lower than before. With time all pails will be filled to 4.4 gallons. Pails of 100 10 and 100 30 are still 5 gallons. Single gallons are also now short filled to 113 ounces per container.

100 is also a base for medium to dark colors. If you order Envirolak 200, and the color is too dark for the 200 white base, it will be made with 100.

100 series can be catalyzed with CAT100-LV hardener or crosslinked with CAT150 crosslinker to improve vertical flow, adhesion, chemical and mar resistance.

If you are using this product with catalyst, the catalyst will raise the sheen 3-6 units depending on the amount added. If your goal is a higher sheen satin finish, we recommend 20 sheen when catalyzing. If you're looking for a lower sheen satin finish, we recommend 10 sheen. 

Depending on order volume, custom colors may not ship the same day. Custom color ship dates are updated at the top of each page Monday through Friday.

Custom colors are accurately matched to a 0.5 Delta E or less.

Paint manufacturer color swatches vary. Ensure the color is accurate before proceeding with a full scale application.

If you are ordering a color for the same job, please include the HM number on the top of the can. 

Reduction is not required when spraying with Air Assisted Airless or Airless, however, adding 3% RX010 reducer or 5-10% water will improve application characteristics when used as a clear coat.

Reduction is recommended for pressure pots, HVLP turbine, conventional cup guns or brush and roll. 100 needs to be mixed thoroughly, scraping any solids settled at the bottom, prior to application to ensure consistency and gloss.
