Centurion 2K Polyurethane Primer is the water based primer you've been looking for! Now available in black (CW-1907).

Centurion 1107 primer is meant for use where extreme chemical and moisture resistance is required. This product requires a 10% (by weight) or a 13.75% (by volume) mix with CW-4002 hardener to provide a fully crosslinked film.

Features:

Great over hard and soft woods, and MDF.
The high build formula fills wood grain
Blocks tannin bleed though when catalyzed
Can be used on new wood or existing finished wood
Easy to sand
Chemical and moisture resistance
Can be used without CW-4002 hardener (you will not get the strong adhesion or tannin/stain blocking properties). This is not recommended.

Tip Recommendation: TriTech fine finish 308 or 408 or Graco FF 308 or 408

HVLP Turbine: 1.8 - 2.0 needle

Dry time: Tack free in 20-25 minutes. Sand/Recoat in 45-60 minutes.

Spray application methods: conventional, airless, air assisted airless, HVLP (minimum 4 stage turbine) reduction of 2-5% may be needed.

This primer can be tinted. If we are doing a custom color match, and you want the primer tinted, we will use a quarter or half of that formula for the primer. The color will not match 100% and this is done on purpose.

For dark colors we will tint the primer to a medium gray with 2 ounces of black colorant. 2 ounces is the maximum amount of recommended colorant for this primer. If you have a dark blue or black color, 1907 black, or tinted 1011 is a better choice.

The following products are ground only: TWP deck stain, Arborcoat oil based stain, Simiron epoxy, all 5 gallon pails, tabletop epoxy, dry erase paints, airless paint sprayers, Benjamin Moore deck cleaning products, and all oil based gel/wiping stains.

All items are packed thoroughly to avoid damage.

In January and February, orders to certain areas with material that can freeze will include a large heat pack designed to provide heat for 3-4 days. This time of year delays can happen from UPS/FedEx that are out of our control. There are no guarantees with any shipping service and express can be delayed. Wood coatings can typically handle 1-3 freeze/thaw cycles. Receiving items frozen is very rare, and at this time we do not refund any products that are frozen.
