Golden Paintworks Metallic Texture is a water based acrylic paste that is pigmented with pearlescent mica powder, and produces a metallic finish with a varied sheen across the surface.

Note: the appearance of sample images above will vary depending the display used to view them.

We recommended ordering a quart sample if you are unsure on the color. Returns are not accepted on all colors.

Metallic texture is applied with a trowel, brush, or roller. The final finish requires no burnishing, or top coating. It's perfect for accent walls, powder rooms and well lit ceilings, or wherever you want a textured metallic look.

Tint bases are filled at 29 ounces per quart and 116 ounces per gallon.

Due to the density of this product, it may appear that the can isn't full enough. There is room in the can for colorant, and the tint bases are short-filled. Actual volume will vary depending on color.

Application:

Stir well before use. Apply at temperatures between 50° F & 90° F. Product can be applied by trowel, brush, roller or sprayer. Metallic Texture Pearl Tint Base and Gold Tint Base can be used as is, or tinted to another color. May be thinned up to 30% with water if desired.

Dry Time: At 50% RH, 77° F: To touch 1 hour. Recoat in 2-4 hours. Air movement and exchange will assist in proper drying.

The following products are ground only: TWP deck stain, Arborcoat oil based stain, Simiron epoxy, all 5 gallon pails, tabletop epoxy, dry erase paints, airless paint sprayers, Benjamin Moore deck cleaning products, and all oil based gel/wiping stains.

All items are packed thoroughly to avoid damage.

In January and February, orders to certain areas with material that can freeze will include a large heat pack designed to provide heat for 3-4 days. This time of year delays can happen from UPS/FedEx that are out of our control.
