Modern Masters Deep Base Venetian Plaster is short filled to allow for more tint to be added, and darker colors.

This venetian plaster can be burnished which increases the translucency for a marble like finish. The finish can become so smooth it even feels like real marble.

Venetian Plaster is applied in thin layers with trowel and then burnished to create a smooth surface with the illusion of depth and texture. You can control the sheen level of the finish by simply sanding and burnishing until the desired sheen is obtained.
