Novalk 917B is a high solids (58%), fast drying 1K or 2K primer with a tannin blocking additive.
917B is a high build primer with great sandability and a fast dry time. 917B is suitable for use as a 1K but can be used as a 2K for added stain blocking and moisture resistance with 5-10% NCW-80 water based hardener.
Novalk primer is currently packaged in a US gallon container.

- 3-4 hour pot life as a 2K with NCW-80 hardener at 5% by volume - excess heat can decrease this.

Airless: Apply with a 310 or 410 fine finish spray tip at 1700-2200 psi.
HVLP: A minimum 4 or 5 stage HVLP turbine is recommended. Use a 1.8 or 2.0 needle. If needed, reduce 5-10% with warm water.

The following products are ground only: TWP deck stain, Arborcoat oil based stain, Simiron epoxy, all 5 gallon pails, tabletop epoxy, dry erase paints, airless paint sprayers, Benjamin Moore deck cleaning products, and all oil based gel/wiping stains.
All items are packed thoroughly to avoid damage.
In January and February, orders to certain areas with material that can freeze will include special heat packs designed to provide heat for 3-4 days. This time of year delays can happen from UPS/FedEx that are out of our control.
