Envirolak 160 primer is an acrylic white primer that is designed to be used as a 1K or 2K on solid wood, MDF, or veneer.

Envirocryl 160 primer offers fast dry times, is easy to sand, and is available in a tannin blocking version (160TB). The 160TB sands the same as the 160 without the tannin blocking additive.

160 offers fast dry times and is easy to sand without being easy to sand through. After priming, PR160 is suitable to be topcoated with Envirolak's 200, 400 or 800 series topcoats.

Typical system for new construction with solid wood:

Sand raw wood with 180
Apply Envirocryl 160 White Primer
Sand using 320 grit sandpaper or fine sponge
Apply Envirocryl 160 White Primer
Sand using 320 grit sandpaper or fine sponge
Apply 1 or 2 coats of Envirocryl 400 topcoat

The following products are ground only: TWP deck stain, Arborcoat oil based stain, Simiron epoxy, all 5 gallon pails, tabletop epoxy, dry erase paints, airless paint sprayers, Benjamin Moore deck cleaning products, and all oil based gel/wiping stains.

All items are packed thoroughly to avoid damage.

In January and February, orders to certain areas with material that can freeze will include special heat packs designed to provide heat for 3-4 days. This time of year delays can happen from UPS/FedEx that are out of our control.
