Benjamin Moore Studio Finishes Latex Metallic Glaze (620) is an acrylic based glaze designed to produce beautiful metallic special effects.
This product is discontinued. Looking for a metallic paint or glaze? We recommend Golden Metallic Paints. The golden paintworks metallic paints can be mixed with clear acrylic glaze to create a similar effect.
This metallic glaze is meant for interior use on previously painted surfaces, including ceilings, walls and trim. Use wherever a metallic finish is desired. It is not meant to be used as a paint, but a translucent topcoat.

Coverage: 500-600 sq. feet per gallon.
Tips: Since the final appearance of your project will be influenced by the base coat color and the application technique, experiment first on an isolated area or sample board to be certain the desired effect is achieved.
In most faux finishing techniques, the application of the glaze with a brush or roller may not the final step as these application methods do not normally provide the desired texture. In the final step, the wet glaze is commonly re-textured with a sponge, lint free rag, plastic bag, pouncing brush or other tool to create a uniform distribution and the finished texture.
Thinning is unnecessary, but a small amount of water (up to 8 fl. oz. per gallon) can be used to thin the glaze.
