Centurion HydroBond is a thixotropic 1K/2K urethane/acrylic topcoat designed for easy application, and excellent durability.

Hydrobond is suitable for use as a 1K and can be catalyzed at 5% by weight with CW-4002 hardener for added mar and chemical resistance. Hydrobond has excellent coverage and vertical hang in all colors.

Please note, clear is sold short filled. It's recommended to add 10 ounces of water to the clear base before spraying.

10 sheen (flat) is the most popular sheen and it is what we recommend for most applications.

Flat - 10 sheen (is a low sheen satin)

Satin - 30 sheen (high sheen satin)

All colors tint with Centurion's recommended industrial colorants for the best possible performance and coverage. Custom colors are always accurately matched to a 0.5 Delta E or less.

If you are ordering a color for the same job, you must include the HM number on the top of the can. 

Paint manufacturer color swatches vary. Ensure the color is accurate before proceeding with a full scale application. 

Airless: Apply with a 408 or 308 fine finish spray tip at 1600-2100 psi. This product is thick, but reduction should not be needed. If you are not adding catalyst, you may reduce with 3-5% warm water or 9008 medium retarder reducer as needed. 

HVLP Turbine: A minimum 4 or 5 stage HVLP turbine is recommended. Use a 1.8, or 2.0 needle. If needed, start with 3-5% of

9008 medium retarder reducer and add up to 10%. 

This product must be applied in an environment where surface, product, and ambient temperatures are above 54F.

Air Assisted Airless: Sagola 09/40 or 09/60

Lower temperatures will dramatically increase the viscosity of this product. 

Recommended Primers: 

New wood: 1108 (1K) or 1111 (1K or 2K)

Refinish: 1111 (2K with 5% catalyst) or 1123 (1K) or 1107 (2K with 10% catalyst - where extreme moisture resistance and adhesion is needed.)

Clear: 2001 sanding sealer

If your job requires multiple gallons, box/mix together like colors to ensure color consistency. It is also highly recommended to order enough for your job!
