Envirolak CAT150 crosslinker/hardener is designed to be added to existing Envirolak products to enhance the performance of the cured finish.
In topcoats, this isocyanate free crosslinker will improve chemical resistance, mar and scratch resistance as well as hardness. Using it in basecoats will improve adhesion and water resistance. In vertical spray applications, the addition of CAT150 Crosslinker will help eliminate orange peel to give a smoother finish.
ELCAT150 is ready to use and should be stirred into the finish using mechanical agitation or mixed very thoroughly by hand.
Crosslinked material lasts for 8-12 hours before losing performance, see "pot-life" below.
ELCAT150 should be added at 3% by weight.
In Primer: (ELPR170, ELPR170-TB or ELPR180)
Per Gallon: 170 grams, or 5 fl oz.
Per Pail (4 GA): 680 grams, or 20 fl oz.
In White Topcoats: (ELNYW200XX, ELACW 400XX, 800 series)
Per Gallon: 135 grams, 4 fl oz.
Per Pail (5 GA): 680 grams, or 20 fl oz.
In Clear Topcoats/Sealers:(EL100XX, ELNYC 300XX, ELAC 500/550XX, ELSEAL XXX)
Per Gallon: 117 grams, or 3.4 fl oz.
Per Pail (5 GA): 582 grams, or 17 fl oz

The following products are ground only: TWP deck stain, Arborcoat oil based stain, Simiron epoxy, all 5 gallon pails, tabletop epoxy, dry erase paints, airless paint sprayers, Benjamin Moore deck cleaning products, and all oil based gel/wiping stains.
All items are packed thoroughly to avoid damage.
In January and February, orders to certain areas with material that can freeze will include a large heat pack designed to provide heat for 3-4 days. This time of year delays can happen from UPS/FedEx that are out of our control.
