EnviroCat CAT100-LV is an isocyanate based hardener for water based finishes to improve hardness, chemical resistance and adhesion.
Using this hardener/catalyst in a topcoat will increase the gloss of the product 5-10% depending on how much hardener you add. Using hardener in Envirolak coatings gives a pot-life of 2-3 hours.
Envirocat hardener must be slowly added to your coating while being mixed with mechanical agitation for several minutes before use.
How much should I add?
Primers - ELPR170, ELPR170-TB, and PR180 primers - 3-5% by weight or volume. (2-3 hour pot life.)
ELNYW200 (200 series) - 5-10% by weight or volume. (2 hour pot life).
EL100 or ELNYC300 - 5-10% by weight or volume. (3 hour pot life).
ELCAT100-LV contains isocyanate and is a respiratory hazard. Use appropriate PPE which can include a fresh air supplied respirator for spray application.
Please follow all other recommended application methods for the associated product you are using ELCAT100-LV in. These products are designed for industrial use only.

The following products are ground only: TWP deck stain, Arborcoat oil based stain, Simiron epoxy, all 5 gallon pails, tabletop epoxy, dry erase paints, airless paint sprayers, Benjamin Moore deck cleaning products, and all oil based gel/wiping stains.
All items are packed thoroughly to avoid damage.
In January and February, orders to certain areas with material that can freeze will include a large heat pack designed to provide heat for 3-4 days. This time of year delays can happen from UPS/FedEx that are out of our control.
